“Let me show you Eternal Realities”, said the Abba Father.
“You are from eternity because you came from me, and you are eternal because you will live with me for ever. My Son, Jesus carried eternity in His heart and His life on earth reflected this eternal truth. Every ministry He did on earth had eternal implications. When He healed and set people free, my eternal Kingdom came inside of them. In one day He rid everyone of their sins through His blood death on the cross” explained the Abba Father.
“But Judas had his heart always set on the earth and himself. His life reflected his heart.”
When Judas betrayed Jesus, it was not just for the 30 silver coins. He knew Lord Jesus would die soon and he was afraid of the chief priests. He assumed he was safe as long as Lord Jesus was alive and He feared their wrath after the Lord’s death. Judas wanted to secure his position with the chief priests because he was earthly minded. Hence he made the deal.
Judas did not have his heart set on eternity. His focus was on himself and his life was devoid of God and His eternal purposes.
Holy reverential fear of God gripped my heart as the Abba Father revealed this.
Maybe it’s time to do an ‘Eternal reality check’ to see which category our ministry fits in.
He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
